the link to triple boot assistant, has saved me many times. My system is currently hosed only have access to Mac when i tried to change my linux partition install to new ubuntu install. windows wont open and linux doesnt even show in chamelon when i boot off usb. Help Me please

Background will be needed often when i'm freaking out over hosed machine i forgo the facts.

I have had a great working triple boot for about a year now. Mac OS 10.9, Win7 and BackBox linux. 8 gigs of ram probook 4530s .

Recently purchased some Nexus devices to turn into ubuntu mobile devices. I found in reading the tutorials that ubuntu mobile requires a ubuntu install to successfully put on my Android devices.

So thats when i started playing with my triple boot system and hosed my boot loader Chameleon. I installed Ubuntu 14.04 on the old linux partition.

I managed to get them all up and running just have to use a usb stick to access chameleon and os x currently the ubuntu bootloader is running good except it doesnt load mac os x. I have read reHabMans blog http://racerrehabman.wordpress.com/category/guides/ . My install sequence was Hackintosh first then windows and finally backbox linux then later changed to ubuntu linux. thus causing the bootloader fail. I also implemented the bootloader partition in the ubuntu install. which is different from rehabmans guide.

I can see all of my partitions when i boot up on my flash drive chameleon. i can access ubuntu 14.04 and windows 7 an Hackintosh 10.9 i just can't seem to remember how to fix synching my MBR/GBT after the ubuntu install so i have to use my flash drive to access mac seems like it was a simple process just cant find those old pages

If you installed grub to the HDD itself and not a partition (eg. /dev/sda instead of /dev/sda3, for example), then you now have grub as your MBR bootloader, overwriting Chameleon boot0.

The fix is to re-install boot0 (eg. re-install Chameleon). The Chameleon standalone installer will not overwrite a grub MBR, so you must force it. Either manually using Terminal or using Chameleon Wizard.

Wow things just keep getting easier, can't believe i didn't know about Chameleon Wizard. All set works great. Now time to dual boot my nexus 7 with ubuntu.
