I think it's easier if I just restore from the bootable backup.
This is what I'm going to do:
1. I start here:
http://www.tonymacx86.com/hdmi-audio/143760-audio-hdmi-audio-applehda-guide.html (for ease, the "Forum Guide").
2. From the first table, Row 8 applies, so I download the guide from row 7, column 2 (HD4600-hdmi_audio, which downloads "[Guide]_HD4600-hdmi_audio_(dsdt_or_ssdt)_v2.1.3.pdf"
(for ease, the "PDF Guide 1")
3. I try to download the files from the link in row 8, column 3 but I get a "400: invalid request" error.
(Should I try the link in row 8, column 4?)
4. I take note of row 8, column 5 and the applicable Kext edit is Azul.
5. I downloaded all the tools.
6. I added the source to MaciASL.
After this, things get messy.
7.
Should I continue from the Forum Guide or from the PDF Guide 1?
8. I decided to continue from the Forum Guide.
9. From the table "Clover/kext edits (config.plist)", I choose the links in row yosemite, column 2 and row yosemite, column 5
(Both links point to the same file, right?)
10.
Here I get confused again, I copy/paste what's in the KextToPatch section of the downloaded plist file to the KextToPatch of the plist in EFI/CLOVER and save the file? can I use TextEdit?
11.
The Forum Guide ends here, since Part C is not applicable, right? So I reboot here?
Thanks for your help!
