Random Mavericks freezes since adding GTX660

Hi

First Hackintosh build, has been excellent right up until the point I added a GTX660 to get 1440p video on my Asus monitor.

When I was using the HD4600 the system was super stable wake and sleep worked fine no freezing ever.

Now I experience random freezing when say watching a video, or changing a track on Spotify or even when simply clicking the back button in Safari.
I also have an issue where the system does not wake from sleep correctly this can be solved sometimes by unplugging and plugging back in again the display port cable from the back to get a display, but other times not at all.

Odd thing is most of the time the system seems to continue running in the background as far as I can tell, which makes me think its GPU or PSU related??
