I am running Premiere Pro CC (2015.0.1) and Media Encoder and cannot enable CUDA. It's not even listed as an option under the rendering engine drop down menu. Open CL is causing massive glitches in renders, and some have said that switching to CUDA solves the problem. Using just the "Mercury Playback Engine Software Only" is not an option, because I am a video professional and need the extra speed from GPU acceleration.
What's a workaround for enabling CUDA? The old solutions don't seem to be working, especially since the "supported cards" .txt no longer exists to be edited. Another weird thing: my video card is not listed by name under system information, but rather "NVIDIA Chip Model 4096 MB."
My build is brand new, stuck closely to the August buyer's guide. Everything else seems to be working well.
Processor: Intel Core i7, 4.4 GHz
Memory: 32 GB
Gigabyte Z97X-UD7 TH Mobo
Nvidia GeForce GT 740 (SuperClocked)
Thanks for any help!
