I have buid a system with recommended components:

GA-Z97N-WIFI
Intel Core i7-4790K
16GB RAM
Nice mini-ITX cabinet + good PSU etc.
(no graphics card)

I followed the installationguide to the point using unibeast to install Yosemite, and MultiBeast to update settings post installand i got a working system, no hassle at all.
BUT:
Then I decided to upgrade my display to a DELL P2815Q because of the 4K support on the onboard graphics card to try it out. Now every time on try to ude the new DELL monitor, the system wont boot and gives me the error: Memory allocation error, addr: 0xdeadbeef, size: 0x0 at gui.c line 504. I cant even enter the BIOS. If i turn the computer off, and switch to my old display using the same HDMI port + cable, everything works fine.. My "old" display is a ACER T232HL whicj is nice, but wanted something bigger..

Any help would be appreciated. (It my first hackintosh build, but have worked with PC's for 10 years)

/Michael

Try setting your resolution to something lower manually like 1920x1080 in your org.chameleon.boot.plist. Also try increasing the amount of RAM allocated to your internal graphics.

I tried setting the resolution in the bootfile, and have also increased the RAM for the graphicscard in BIOS - no luck.

Strange thing though:
I tried resetting the BIOs and disconnecting everything except mouse+keys+HDMI and it still just gives me a black screen with a blinking cursor i the top left corner, but then i tried connection two screens, one in each HDMI on the mobo, and i was able to boot and use both in OSX..

Seems to be the BIOS issue, had it with Z87MX-D3H too

Discrete video card that supports 4K

So basicly the onboard one that supports 4K doesnt work on the mobo i have!? I cant even get it to work alone with a blank SSD.. Only if attached as a second screen..

When I sold my GTX770, left out with built in Intel 4600 and 4K monitor.
Integrated adapter is working in Yosemite out of the box, it is even supports 4K@60Hz over DP1.2 but with no QE/CI acceleration (couldn't made it working). Acceleration only works in 1080p

Hmm i sent Gigabyte support an email about the problem. I doesn't make any sense that the mobo wont boot with the Dell screen attached.. Even without a HD attached..

Gigabyte sent me a BIOS V. F5D, and that fixed the problem.. sort of.. I can only get 1080P in OSX via HDMI (The mobo only has HDMI) Any solution to this?
