I know its off topic but can we start a thread for testing and solutions to the USB freeze issue? as mentioned by another user it seems like the major remaining issue on many of these 9series Gigabyte boards.
I did two fixes at the same time, and for the last 24 hours, it has been perfect.
The HD4600 is still working fine.
I also followed a link I found on how to wipe HWMonitor from HD because toleda mentioned about it not being supported in series 9 boards (which I installed using MultiBeast at some point).
Basically is to delete 2 kext and re-install FakeSM only from Multibeast, rebuild caches and repair permissions and voila!
Like I said, 24 hours without a single USB freeze (I plugged-unplugged maybe 20 times during that 24 hours). Even resolved my sleep and shut down issues (where it would hang and have monitor issues) to being perfect. Sleeps and wakes up without delays or glitch, shuts down without hanging.
I can provide a list of kexts loaded should anyone need to see.
Again, gracious thanks to the people involved in the fixes and the community!
