I was sure it worked before but tried several times on fresh installs and couldn't get it to work. May be some acpikoller kext permissions?
In windows notebookfancontrol works 90% of the time ( fan spins up too much some times and haven't figured out why). Hpfancontrol is a nogo.
Write 47 read 46 fake temp 38 and temp readings 50 registers as I recall.

You need to spend some time in RW-Everything to determine if the EC control registers are the same as the other ProBooks.

I just checked HDMI and my 450G1 HacBook froze for few secs and restarted and could not boot, until I removed the HDMI Out:crazy:

mein too. plz provide patchs you installed.
i used this guide: http://www.tonymacx86.com/hp-proboo...stall-mavericks-clover-hp-probook-4x0-g1.html

will try temperature test tomorrow. as i understand u have its higher then normal, am i right?

btw about sound. on level 1-4 do u hear sound or it near mute?
sound key led is sync with push? (i mean white = sound on, orange = sound off)

thx

Had no luck with readwriteeverything over past 1 week. No today I added a 22 ohm resistor to red wire and redid thermal pasting. Now its dead silent under heavy load around 60 degrees. So better temps at like insanely lower fan speed...so happy right now :)

Have a 450 G1 4702mq running 10.9.1

Sleep seems to be working intermittently (usually jumps to login screen first time)
Recovery from sleep is hit and miss (450 locks up most times and i have to reboot)

Anybody had/having the same experiences?

In your BIOS if you disable wake on lan and USB it should ensure the system properly sleeps instead of jumping to the login screen.

Here are a few observations I've made about sleep stability on my Probook 450 G1.

1) It seems pretty successful in putting itself to sleep automatically and manually with Apple->sleep however closing the ldi is very inconsistent. I'd say maybe 50% of the time it fails to where the screen goes out but nothing responds and the power button isn't pulsating like a normal sleep mode.

2) Waking from sleep in 10.9.1 seemed to be fairly stable but has recently changed. I assume it was 10.9.2 upgrade but not 100% sure since I've constantly be futzing with things sine then. Anyway, it appears to wake just fine but then after a brief period of time (5seconds to 2 minutes) the screen just goes black and the HD trashes briefly and then nothing responds. I have to hold the power button down to turn the machine off and restart. After booting up again I noticed every once in awhile Clover attempts to resume from hibernation which I was hoping was a clue to the problem. However, even after setting hibernatemode 0 via pmset the problem still exists. Not really sure what else to try at this point.

Pressing Power Button and Choosing Sleep from Apple Menu does put it in Sleep, but closing display results in Blank screen and doesn't go to sleep. I did have to press Power Button to put it to sleep and press Power Button again to bring the screen ON.

I figured out what is going on here but not why... When I apple->restart it reboots my machine but the screen turns off and doesn't come back until the login screen on OS X. So my display is off when posting, Clover menu, and OSX splash screen. If I was to select Windows it boots but the display never turns back on. However, I found out if I put Windows to sleep and wake up the display comes back on.

Anyway, I realized that after I wake from sleep the machine is just restarting but because of this goofy issue I thought it was hanging. However, I just got around to settings Clover's default boot volume to OSX with a 5 second time out. Then next time it happened I walked away for a minute and came back to notice the OSX login screen was up. So my machine woke from sleep, and restarted itself...

Any ideas on what could be forcing a restart?

EDIT: I tried turning CSM off in my bios and it seemed to fix the waking problem. Restarted and turned it back on and it still works.. Not exactly sure what's going on now. Any ideas?

EDIT2: Appears reverting to CSM on works the first time but any time i reboot after that it flakes out again. So unless anybody has ideas I need to have CSM off. Unfortunately with CSM off Windows doesn't boot anymore. I've attached an image with the error message. I've turn CSM back on and ran the repair like the error message says but it doesn't detect any problems to repair...

nguyenmac if you were asking me about my DSDT it has the following patches applied to it

IRQ Fix
Audio Layout 12
Rename GFX0 --- just the top not VID and AGP1 sections
Brightness Fix (Haswell)
Fix _WAK Arg0 v1
Battery - HP Probook 4x0s G1

already known bug (black screen till reboot)
here i wrote about it: http://www.tonymacx86.com/hp-proboo...icks-clover-hp-probook-4x0-g1.html#post777562
for now, haven't found how to fix it. i am using nguyenmac method with changed smbios to macbookpro11,1. bios 1.08.

read that thread and look another thing like freeze with hdmi and sound level.
btw have tested power/temperture level. if sensor not lieing idle power is 1watt more than 4530s (~4\3). after start temp near 40, fan speed 2300. with cpuburn max temp i can get 68 (fan 3600), speed 2,97). sleep is fully working. using csm on. next week will try unix double boot.

You can't boot to Windows without CSM because you're using Windows Legacy. Reinstall Windows UEFI will help.
