A copy of my reg as requested, someone pls help this noob!
Verify HD Audio is enabled in the BIOS. Try MultiBeast 5.2.1 or newer - Select/Drivers & Bootloaders/Drivers/Audio/Realtek ALC8xx/Without DSDT/ALC889. Reply with new IOReg.

yigityuk - GA-Z77X-UD5H Audio Problem Reporting

Hello!
This is my first mackintosh. And i got almost everything up and working except audio. I am trying to use internal audio but even though my ports show up in audio settings, i can't get any sound out of them. And when I had checked I saw that my PinConfigurations value is not as it should be. But I am pretty sure I had installed the right codec :/

I would be glad if you can help me.

My system info and procedure i have tried are as below. I have also attached the IOreg and required screenshots.
Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H Bios@F14, i3570k, 10.8.2 HD4000
MultiBeast 5.2.1 Without DST Select/Drivers & Bootloaders/Drivers/Audio/Realtek ALC8xx/Without DSDT/ALC898

The GA-Z77X-UD5H has serious problems iwith OS X audio. If your motherboard is a Rev 1.0, there is no green port audio, front or rear. Try the 1st Line Out and the black port or the 2nd Line Out and the orange port. Search GA-Z77X-UD5H audio for more information. If you have a Rev 1.1, all audio ports should work. The pinconfigs are correct. See ML: MultiBeast - No Audio/Solutions and Problem Reporting.

Toleda how you arrived settings binary AppleHDA.kext / MacOS / AppleHDA?
I see the DevID : 10EC0892, but do not understand how to get Struct:
Note that the DevID is in red!!
But how to get the result that is blue(Struct)?
A lot of testing. I ended up with the same edit for six ALC8xx codecs.

OSX 10.8.2

ACL887

Hardware:
Inspiron 560
Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5700
Galaxy nVidia Geforce GT640 1GB (with rom loaded in chameleon)
4GB Ram
Upgraded from 10.8. Can run 10.7

Non-DSDT

No input/output devices are detected.

Layout ID of HDEF@1B is 1
Everything seems to be working, and the IOHDACodecDriver reports that my device ID is the 0x10ec0887.

My problems with troubleshooting begin when I look up the Pin Configuration, and it is just <>. Also, I have no AppleHDA driver appearing in IOReg.

Furthermore, here's a spit of my booting errors...

The tool tells me if OS X sees your codec. Your system seems to have an ugly set of problems. Suggest a clean install.

So go back to 10.8 clean, then 10.8.2, no extras in-between?
