are u already using multi beast mate?
If for about this mac it's only cosmetic, because we have 6cores we just need to add this key on smbios.plist

Yes I am running multibeast, I am aware of the cosmetic cpu unavailable. However I cant get mac to boot properly without the cpus=1 flag or else it freezes on the loading screen. It only runs 1 core and crashes sometimes, how do I enable my cpu to work at its full 6 cores 12 threads, I am on an intel i7 3930k processor.

u'r procie it's same with me mate..are u doing clean installation or just upgrade from lion mate?
i'm doing installation from fresh installation..for boot i just type npci=0x3000 not cpu=1 mate and it just running well if u have nvidia gtx6xx u must also type graphicsenabler=no and PCIRootUID=0 after finished installation, booting again using the bootable flash disk or what u use and same must type that again, after already in mountain lion i suggest in multi beast just chose install easybeast install and system utilities-repair permission without any kext if already finish just plug out u'r bootable flash disk and try booting from u'r hdd if running well u can continue to next step to instal another kext from multi beast.

This is a non recoverable error! System HALTED!!!

nvm that is something else I got in using npci=0x3000 graphicsenabler=no and PCIRootUID=0

But it's extremely lag I can't move my mouse and the desktop icons aren't loading.

SABERTOOTH X79, Intel i7 3930K, GeForce GTX 580 (Fermi) 3GB

my bios is setup the same as the first post here.
 
my suggest if u can boot to mountain lion u just install multi beast with chose only easy beast install and system utility with repair permission only that for the first time multi beast install after that just reboot, and if working u can continue to another kext but for audio u need to do the last install after the other kext already install and reboot..

Thanks for the tip mate. Just did a fresh install of ML, running Carbon Copy Cloner now before I run Multi Beast and I'll make a backup at each step I take with Multi Beast - sick of having to re-install the OS!
 
What command lines are you guys using to start the installer. I always get the apple logo stuck on the spinning logo screen and it freezes or goes black. I would like to do a fresh install of ML on an asus sabertooth x79 mobo with i7 3930k and a gtx 670 ftw. My bios is latest and hdds are set to ahci. Am I missing something ?
