Hi everybody,

I recently bought this fantastic ultrabook and I decided to try install El Capitan on it.
I have some hackintosh experience before, mainly with desktop, and i have usually reached a usable and satisfactory condition with it.
This time, after realized a dual boot system with win 10 and Ubuntu 16.04, i cannot make the system boot the USB in UEFI mode with the image of hackintosh (realized with UniBeast of course).
Strangely the USB doesn't appear in the boot options and i cannot find any way out of this problem.
I tried to boot the USB with a desktop PC and it works.
Has anybody this type of issue and managed to solve it?

The other strange fact is that searching in the web (and in this forum) nobody seems to have this type of problem, everybody reached the post-install situation.

I hope that someone can help me with this.

Thank you.

Follow the Clover guide linked from the FAQ.

Pay attention the Skylake info in the FAQ. It is important.

"Update 5 -Installation USB:
Because of the USB issues inherent in 100 Series motherboards so far, two extra patches need to be added- the APIC patch above and the USB Raise Port Limit patch. If both are added to UniBeast created USB's config.plist, the installer should boot. "

I think this is the passage that is so important, i will try later and I will alert you if it works. Thank you!

AppleAPIC patch not required anymore (the problem was fixed in later versions of 10.11).
Port limit patch is for short term use only. For background info, see guide: http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-10-11-usb-changes-and-solutions.173616/

I tried the fix explained in the guide, but the USB doesn't boot yet.
It simply doesn't appear under "UEFI BOOT" mode, i have no idea of what i'm doing wrong.
Can you send me the plist compiled? (I tried plist pre compiled in the guide, but it doesn't work).

Of Course i did!

Or USB boot is not enabled in BIOS. Or the USB was not created properly (MBR, two partitions, "CLOVER EFI" as FAT32, Clover installed UEFI mode).

Because the problem you describe (BIOS not allowing boot to the USB), has nothing to do with OS X, but everything to do with BIOS and the partitions/files on the USB.

Note: You need to fill out your profile as requested in the guide.

USB boot is enabled, i installed one week ago Ubuntu 16.04 by USB.
I will check out the creation of the USB and retry.
I re-check the BIOS settings several time, as i said i'm not new to Hackintosh installation so i know what is the basic things to do before installation, but i never had this type of problem!

I fill out my profile immediately, sorry for this!

Make sure you installed Clover in UEFI mode. There are very specific instructions in the guide.
