I think you have some setting in bios that makes conflict with the installation process. Check again your bios settings and if you can paste here some pics.
PS what do you use as target installation disk? SSD? HDD? SSD M2?

Hey drumsareme,
I have a Samsung 850 Pro too and had serious issues with installing the system. I wasn't able to boot also. Even if I tried to install on another drive(while the M.2 was built in) the system wasn't able to boot. So I removed the Samsung 850 Pro, installed the system successfully and got into yosemite. Then shut down and install the M.2 and boot again into Yosemite and then
use Carbon copy cloner. It creates a clone of your system disk. But remember to install clover to your clone disk and copy your EFI folder into the clone EFI folder too so it will be bootable.
Try this way, I think you could have success with it ;)

So are you saying i should try a different SSD that's not a Samsung ? such as a crucial, or some other brand ?

oh sorry,
I got confused with the model numbers :crazy: I had trouble with my 950 pro m.2 not with the 850 pro that you have. But nevertheless try it with a normal HDD as thenightflyer and me suggest you.
 
HELP !!!! I just accidentally deleted my only copy of Yosemite.... I am so pissed off with this whole thing.... Is anyone able to give me a copy of Yosemite 10.10 ? Otherwise I'm ****ed...

I've problems with thunderbolt drive but it's not a rule....maybe you with an audio interface would not have any kind of problems. Try.

Hi thenightflyer, i am in middle of installation of the portugese brazil guy.... will it make a major difference if I've got a GTX 780 Ti graphics card, and not a GTX 980 ?

Is the CUDA download the same for my graphics card ? and they are both windows or linux ? theres no option for mac for GTX780 Ti....
