weird iMessage problem, it connects, but....

it will not sign in. and if i close it and open it again, it just sits there at the spinning connecting window. but I don't get any validation errors or anything. I tried installing clover and bricked the hard drive, so had to reinstall chameleon from my mavericks install. using installed with unibeast and used multibeast for boot loader, everything else was basically OOB. Audio I had to use my Mavericks kexts .

i have a screennie if its needed. I have my NVRAM and my org.chameleon. boot list from mavericks in my extra folder on Yosemite, and all the serial numbers and boot roms are the same. iMessage and everything works flawlessly in Mavericks. as is, iCloud, App Store, and FaceTime work fine, its just iMessage being obnoxious.

iMessage won't work with Chameleon in Yosemite how ever it use to work with Clover how ever apple has changed things there end again which means it doesn't work no more not atm

so only thing to do is to figure out clover? or does iMessage not work with clover now either? and yosemite is dead in the water with iMessage?

iMessage does work with Yosemite. You'll have to use Clover. But to get it working on my Hackintosh I had to call Applecare and give them the code that showed up when I tried to connect to the service. The operator unlocked it and now it's fine ;-)

iMessage is no longer working atm on hackintosh machines not even with clover unless your using a MLB and ROM from a genuine mac which i don't recommend

i don't even have a mac tower that I could use that info from... lol... my friend has a 2006 mac pro, and i know he'd let me use them, since he doesn't ever take it online, but I'm not sure how Apple would handle an unsupported machine. either way wouldn't help my case any. I have a macbook pro, running yosemite, but I'm not sure how that would work with the different power profiles and such.

so it isn't working at all on hackintoshes, huh? shame. because yosemite runs beautifully, actually much faster than mavericks.

yeah i know not just my iMessage and FaceTime thats affected its my app store and iCloud doesn't seem to log in on none of my hacks neither so its one thing format them take OS X off them and sell them and the money i get buy a genuine mac i guess

Last time that happened to me it was because my credit card had expired - Just had to add the details from the new card and it all worked again.

May be worth a password change too ?

its apples end its on the iMessage guide apples changed there back end servers but its broken everything on all my hacks also my debit card is fine as I've purchased a movie last night in iTunes so

Yes but that shouldn't affect the App Store and iCloud - I can't use iMessage on my Hacks at the moment but they can all access the Cloud and the App Store.
