Hi there,

Just got 10.9.4 up and running, but there is absolutely no sign of my USB bluetooth. It's neither showing up in system preferences, or as a USB device in system profiler.

Thanks in advance.

Can you specify the name and model of your USB Bluetooth dongle?
It's a very no name one, like this one from amazon. Mainly I was wondering if there is an issue beyond which dongle it is as there is no mention of bluetooth in settings and system profiler has no info etc.

I am pretty sure that no Bluetooth Pref Panel will show up if Bluetooth is not detected (I know it used to be this way at least). If you have a supported USB Bluetooth dongle that is detected at boot-up, you should see the panel.

Any suggestions on a good dongle?

Quick question, I got the ASUS Z170i-Pro Gaming mobo, which should have integrated Bluetooth, but it doesn't even show in the system information of Sierra. Is there even a way to make it work, or am I doing something wrong?

Thank you very much for your assistance.
