Hi all,
I've managed to install OSX 10.9.1 Mavericks on a Haswell i7 4770k on a gigabyte ga-z87x-ud3h. Installation was a breeze and after booting and running multibeast I had a pretty much fully working OSX install. I more or less followed this excellent build to get it installed (with the same multibeast settings): http://www.tonymacx86.com/user-buil...-4770k-ga-z87x-ud3h-16gb-ram-gtx-780-3gb.html
However now I've noticed when I try and open most of the default applications (Like App Store, TextEdit, Mail Client etc) I get a 'X quit unexpectedly' message (where X is the application name). I don't want to paste the whole stack trace / error log but I'll provide the first snippet of the error log for the App Store app.
I dont know if this makes a difference but I have OSX dual booted with windows 7 (windows 7 is running fine).
I've tried reinstalling Essentials.pkg from the installer but haven't had any success there. I wonder if anyone else has had this problem? All the other seperately installed applications are working i.e. chrome/itunes/logic (including safari for that matter). All the utilities apps are working too. It's just things like Reminders, Calculator, Facetime, iMessage that don't work.
Thanks and I greatly appreciate any possible help!
Edit: I just rememebered, when i initially installed Mavericks (10.9.1) I went into the app store (it was working at the time) and I downloaded some OS updates. I don't know if updating the OS on a hackintosh can cause such issues?
