i know this is possibly a dumb question, considering its in the buyer's guide, but this model does have advanced 4k format so this begs my question is their something special about this drive that when i update my bootloader through normal means, i will not have to boot into unibeast usb and manually write the bootloader to the hard drive through the use of terminal. again i know its a probably a dumb question, but i need to know because i want to use my current mistakenly bought 4k drive for windows and this WD black drive for mac. Without the annoying issues of having to use unibeast. if anyone who currently uses this drive and is able to change their bootloader through the chimera app with this WD black drive without any issues and no use of unibeast then id be glad to get an answer, just being a cautious buyer is all.

More than likely you will need to manually install Chimera in order to boot from this drive. It's a very simple, painless process - and it sounds like you already know the procedure, so I'm left wondering why you're so reluctant to do it if necessary?

You can always install using Clover to avoid this problem. However, Clover has quite the learning curve, and isn't for the faint-of-heart. Since you seem so squeamish about using the command line to manually install Chimera, I doubt you'd be interested in pursuing Clover.
