Does anyone have a method to successfully disable SIP (System Integrity Protection)?

I need to be able to do this to install the OpenZFS drivers.

I tried the method of grabbing the BaseSystem.dmg from the Recovery partition and modifying it to add needed kexts, but when I create the new compressed BaseSystem.dmg, it's too large to fit back in the Recovery partition.

CsrActiveConfig 0x3 partially disables SIP
CsrActiveConfig 0x67 fully disables SIP

Thanks, I'll try setting/changing those in config.plist.

I'm still working on creating a usable recovery partition and I'd like to get that working first.
