ga-x58a-ud5 fails to boot after dsdt install

Hello all,
I was trying to setup mountain lion using unibeast and mutlibeast.
I have gone thru the setup just fine with unibeast USB and boots up ok.
Only problem is I have no audio.
Tried then using multibeast from here to install the DSDT for ga-x58a-ud5 rev 2 fb and the audio driver for the ALC889a.
Installation for that says that it was successful but when I reboot I get a halt message and no longer works.
Is there a better way to get that installed or is there something wrong with the dsdt?

Also since I am using userdsdt and the patched dsdt from here, should I use the audio kext with or without dsdt?

Ok new development.
The problem is definitely with the DSDT file.
Just went thru and erased the install drive and reinstalled it.
After first boot did a reboot and was fine.
Used multibeast to just install the fb dsdt file that matches my bios (i double checked which one I had)
Then after reboot it no longer starts up anymore.

It is the grey apple boot back ground with a screen with a power symbol saying
"You need to restart you computer. Hold down the power button for several seconds or press the restart button."

Not sure if the problem is that I have a bios that has a SLIC 2.1 in it for windows activation or not but any ideas why this may not be working or how I can fix?
Do I really need the DSDT?

PLEASE can someone reply to this thread - I have the exact same problem; everything works other than sound, then I try to install a DSDT (the fc version in my case) and am met with the same error! Please someone respond :(
