Hi, im not sure if this is the right area to post, but I have have a few bugs to work out in my first build. This is what I've got.

Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3 rev 2.0 board F9 bios
Core i5 760 cpu running at 3.15 ghz
EVGA geforce 9500 GT 1gb ddr2

Im using the dsdt from this site which I edited for the video card, added speedstep, and tried to do the sleep fixes. The video works great without any kexts or graphics enabler, but only in 32bit kernel mode. I think speedstep is working, I still can't get sleep to work, I've tried sleep enabler and messed with bios settings. The computer sleeps, then when you hit a key, it starts and reboots. I found a new beta version of the R1000 ethernet driver that works with my chipset and doesn't mess around with my USB. I'm using bonjour64 to make bonjour work. I gave up on the Audio and got a griffin iMic, which is ok for now (i have the 882 codec).

Here are my questions:

Is there a way to get video acceleration to work in 64 bit kernel? If not, is there a card that I could get that would definitely work?
Is there any hope for getting this thing to sleep properly?
Is there any hope for my onboard audio chipset? if not, are there any suggestions for an reasonably priced PCI or PCIe sound card with digital out?
How can I tell for sure if speedstep is working? I got a geekbench64 score of 8292.

Thank you for any advice, this is a wonderful resource.

Have you tried opening SysPref's, going to the Energy tab and selecting all three of those boxes, specifically the one which reads "Start up automatically after a power failure? For me, this enabled the proper sleep function, without messing around with anything in the bios and just using the DSDT file for my mobo. Without it checked off, I get the same behavior as you, where it will sleep, but when woken, reboots. Just thought I'd check to make sure.

Good luck

J
