First, a HUGE THANKS to tonymacx86 & MacMan for all the AMAZING and ongoing hard work!
Was reviewing the recent post about all the updated goodies in the DSDT database. Noticed that my mobo is actually 2 rev's behind on BIOS. I'd like to update to the latest version of my bios in order to take advantage down the road of Intel 22nm CPU support.
Per the note at the bottom of the post: "To use on an existing system, download and replace your /Extra/DSDT.aml." - a quick question/clarification: Which comes first? Replace my DSDT.ami, THEN reboot & use QFlash to update my bios? Or is it the other way around? My guess is replace DSDT then reflash, but just want to confirm
Also, I assume I rename the DSDT file that I download from the database to match that shown in /Extra/DSDT.ami....?
Thanks VERY much!!
