Which f for gigabyte ga-z68x-ud3h

What does the f mean after gigabyte ga-z68x-ud3h-b3? Or better yet, how do I choose which one of the DSDT's to download? This is my first build, I just purchased this board based on some of the other user's "Golden Builds". I appreciate any assistance. This all seems daunting.

The F3, F4, etc. refer to BIOS version. Download the one that matches the BIOS version that you have.

Is there any way to tell the BIOS prior to firing up the motherboard? It says ver. 1.3 on the box, does that help at all?

The 1.3 is your board version. You need to boot the machine to determine what BIOS version you have. It is listed on the POST screen after your MB name. You can also find it in the BIOS, just check your manual for the page that it is on. For me it is shown on the MB Intelligent Tweaker page.
