Is it possible to patch DSDT to enable proper AHCI support? The existing DSDT's that I've seen for my more all lack SATA/SAT0, etc. They all have only IDE listed...

I've got a GA-G41M-ES2L running a la MacPro3,1 ... beautifully - using Clover, 10.10.1. iMessage, FaceTime all work.

The only thing that is lacking is TRIM support for my SSD. I've applied the TRIM patch manually, and have confirmed that I've applied it correctly.

The System Information (Profiler ===screenshot below====) shows both drives in the SATA/SATA Express section, but the controller is _not_ shown, and the information listed for the drives has a very -non-standard- look to it... mentioning Protocol: ATA and some other attributes that aren't listed on any Mac or Hackintosh that I've checked.

I've researched it quite a bit, and found several threads around that deal directly with this problem, including:

Help and/or ideas, anyone?

After doing another day's worth of research, I'm starting to feel that this may be desperate...

After further research, it seems that it is impossible to do this for a simple reason : the ICH7 chipset doesn't support ACHI. While it is possible to get around this on the ICH7-M and ICH7-R chipsets, the base chipset lacks the hardware needed.

If you need TRIM support and can't get it working in OS X try researching into SSD's that have native garbage collection (TRIM effectively) in the firmware, so that it still functions to its longest life possible without the OS affecting it.

can u plz give me all of ur mackintosh files !
