Hello everyone so today I updated my BIOS to "U1E(UEFI BIOS)" and once I did that I realised that there was no DSDT.aml file for my mobos bios (GA-Z68XP-UD3R with the BIOS: U1E(UEFI BIOS) http://www.gigabyte.com/products/pro...?pid=3911#bios)
On the http://www.tonymacx86.com/11-dsdt-database.html page the latest DSDT they have for my mobo is F6 and the version i need is U1E. So now Im running the Hackintosh without a DSDT and im coming across a few problems which would be fixed it I had a DSDT for my bios.

I also read How to create your own DSDT using MaciASL which shows you how to make my own DSDT file but I couldn't quite work it out. So what I am asking is, could someone please make me a DSDT.aml file for my bios version?

Thanks

Hi

thing is that the initial (virgin) version will have to come from you, so either with dpcimanager or maciasl do that.

Then compile it, see what the problems are. IF there are any problems.

You can add repositories of fix libraries via the Preferences in MacIASL.
See my attachment. You can add others too, if you need for instance Intel 6 series or so, find the URL to the repo and it will show up in the patch window's sidebar to choose from.

If there are errors, look at them, maybe try to find out what is causing it or looks a good candidate.

In my case, the Asus 8-series motherboard had like 72 errors. Applying Toledas Series8 patch erased all of them.

If there are no errors but warnings then you are ready to compile for starters. Save it to your desktop or straight into /EXTRA with the Machine Language Binary option as extension, and you should be in business.

If you want to really start from zero, at the boot prompt, enter DSDT=null and see if it boots. If so then you really start fresh. I can on mine but then not everything works. But it is a good thing to know, so you are able to always get it back to where it was.

Alternatively when you post your DSDT we can have a look, but I am not an expert.

In your case, please consult youtube.com and search for "create DSDT"
