ASUS MAXIMUS VII GENE - Fully working?

Can anyone confirm a fully working ASUS MAXIMUS VII GENE with Yosemite? Doing a search on tonymacx seems inconclusive.

If so will Multibeast 7.1 handle to entire installation?

Mavericks was installed by a few people quite soon after this board was released. The audio will never work with OS X - another USB audio solution would be required. Other than that it should run OS X Yosemite just fine. Clover might be a better option but Chimera/MultiBeast should also work as well. If you have Windows all ready running then Clover is your best option.

That's unfortunate

For my next build I wanted a more advanced board and try to get away from Gigabyte. Although Gigabyte makes a fine board, I have a failure of my ethernet port on my current Z68 board... The ivy bridge system I built for a friend had problems related to the CPU connector which they fixed under warrantee.
The ASUS boards (for me anyway) have always been rock solid.

I will research other options... Thanks.
