My name is Sebastian and this is my first post here, so hello everybody! :D

I wanna build a "small" hackintosh system, which should be used for photo editing, internet stuff, some audio works, a few rendering jobs and a little bit gaming.

Now my first question: does the configuration below work out ouf the box and will it fit my needs?
Second question: I maybe wanna use the Apple Magic Mouse, but therefore I will need bluetooth - which is a recommend bluetooth solution working OOB?

  • GIGABYTE GA-Z87M-D3H, Mainboard
  • Intel® Core™ i7-4790K, CPU
  • be quiet! Dark Rock 3, CPU-Kühler
  • Crucial DIMM 16 GB DDR3-1600 Kit, Arbeitsspeicher
  • MSI GTX760 OC Twin Frozr, Grafikkarte
  • Samsung 840 EVO 2,5" 500 GB, SSD
  • ASUS DRW-24F1ST, DVD-Brenner
  • Fractal Design Define Mini, Gehäuse
  • Corsair CS550M 550W, Netzteil
  • TP-LINK TL-WDN4800, WLAN-Adapter
  • Apple Keyboard, Tastatur
  • ASUS VX279Q, LED-Monitor

Thanks for your answers and suggestions!

Your components are mostly right out of the Buyer's Guide, so everything should work together.

For OOB Bluetooth, the Buyer's Guide recommends either the GMYLE Micro USB Bluetooth 4.0 dongle (http://www.amazon.de/dp/B007MKMJGO) or the IOGear Bluetooth 4.0 USB dongle (http://www.amazon.de/dp/B007GFX0PY).

It likely will not work out of the box. You will likely need to update the BIOS on the motherboard to version 10 (Beta). You will need to take the motherboard to a computer shop where they will put in an older processor and ram onto the board and update the BIOS for you.

Until you update the BIOS you won't be able to do anything with the board and the processor! I just built this system last week.

Maybe I should use an Asus Z87M-Plus (C2). This is flash able without the processor...
Would this a working alternative?

Thx,
Sebastian

Thats an option, ASUS can be flashed with a usb formatted properly inserted with the new bios software on it.

If you want the Gigabyte, your local shop can do it for you.. mine only charged $20 to update the bios.

The question is, will the Asus work of the box or will I need some patches?
