Hi all,

I'm planning to build a new Hackintosh with the following hardware:

-Gigabyte H87M-HD3 Motherboard
-Corsair CX430w Modular PSU
-TP-Link TL-WN881ND WLAN
-Intel i3 4330 Haswell CPU
-2GB DDR3 RAM (Will be upgraded to 8GB)

The Hackintosh is NOT going to have a Graphics Card, so don't worry about the 430w PSU. An online PSU calculator estimated 223w needed for this machine so 430 should be plenty.

If anyone has any recommendations or experience with this hardware could I be given some help.
Also, if there are any kexts, DSDT's or anything else I need for any of the above hardware, please could I have a link or have the kexts, DSDT's etc uploaded on this thread
:D !!

That would be excellent, thanks in advance to anyone who helps !!

Jack :)

Hey there, your hardware will works under OSx. There is no special Kexts to add, just follow the guide and use multibeast.

You will need to select specific kexts in Multibeast for your audio and
networking. If you look at the chart below you'll see that they are both Realtek chips.

So you will choose ALC 887 for the audio kext and Lnx2Mac for the networking.
Other than that just use the standard MB choices that present when installing.
You can always add other kexts or change the system def. later on by running
it again.

Brilliant !! Thanks a load for all the help !!

For anyone that might be interested, the grand total of this build was £228.77 ($381.19)

CPU £96.05
RAM £19.99
MoBo £63.00
WLAN £13.00
PSU £36.73

I already had hard drives and a PC case so there was no cost for them.
I have yet to attempt install of OSx, but I will soon :)
