TP-Link TL-WDN4800 Wifi in Gigabyte GA-Z87X-OC Not Compatible ?

Mine would not work even in Windows 7. It is not detectable if installed on the PCIE X1 slot. Local Service Center has confirmed that they are not compatible by pluggimg in other PCIE Wifi Card and it worked. has anybody experiencing the same problem ???
 
Yeah, same here. I just installed this board and couldn't figure out why my WiFi stopped working. Glad I'm not the only one. Wonder what the problem is?

Have you tried another PCIe slot? I'm going to try moving it to another slot to see if it's just the 1x that doesn't work.

I just confirmed it. I moved it from the 1x slot to a 16x slot and now it works. Not sure why, but since I'm not using that slot anyway I'll just leave it as is.
