Hey guys, sorry to keep posting but I have one thing left to sort out on my hackintosh - audio. My mobo uses VIA VT1708S and so I have found a kext that fully makes it works, front panel audio, all of the controls on the keyboard etc...EVERYTHING, the only problem is that it causes kernel panics! I have also tried installing VoodooHDA 0.2.72 this gives me audio from rear BUT not from front but doesn't really cause kernel panics. The VoodooHDA kext is the one from multibeast but the VIAHDA kext has been edited and is attached to this post. Someone please help as this is pretty much the last thing and is driving me crazy! BTW I am using a DSDT if that makes any difference.
Thanks

Update: okay so I tried removing the appleHDA kext from extensions, I then rebooted, installed ViaHDA, repaired permissions and again rebooted. Following this I did a test in which I booted 10 times. 8/10 boots were successful whilst 2/10 resulted in kernel panics, this is a lot less than before but still there shouldn't be any :/ there were two types of kernel panic. One was about ioaudiofamily.kext and voodooHDA 0.2.6.1 which is what ViaHDA is based on. The second was fakesmc.kext ioacpifamily and applesmc.kext ioacpifamily.
Please help
Thanks ;)

Btw I am running 10.7.3
