Apple has refreshed its line of MacBook Pro, including all models with Retina displays. The refresh includes some modest spec bumps, with all models having only Intel HD Graphics only for graphics except the high-end 15-inch model which contains a GeForce GT 750M; Apple didn't add a graphics card update. A higher amount of RAM to 16GB for the 15" models as a standard, but from the usual 8GB.

  • 13-inch: 2.6GHz with Retina display = $1299.00 and $1499.00
  • 13-inch: 2.8GHz with Retina display = $1799.00
  • 15-inch: 2.2GHz with Retina display = $1999.00
  • 15-inch: 2.5GHz with Retina display = $2499.00

iLife and iWork are still shipping free with a purchase of a new Mac.

Rumors of of a mid-2014 Mac Mini surfaced yesterday on Apple's Bootcamp Support page. These may also include a Haswell refresh CPU since Broadwell chips aren't available yet, and most likely won't be until later this year. There are also two new mid-2014 iMac models listed on the cached version of the page. The iMac refresh could introduce similar Haswell refresh specs in its update, and possibly 9-series chipset support.

Most probably theyre just speed bumps as you can get one of these macbook pros right now and there is no new chipset driver update for current mavericks version.

Now, should I build my hackintosh or hold out for a new mini :p

A mini with 16 or 32gb of ram and iris graphics would be great :p

osx mavericks 10.9.5 beta is out for the developers. Lets see what that brings to the table. =P

It appears that there already is a new Mid 2014 iMac on apple's website in the store.

Fair enough. Sorry it's been a while since I've been on apples website and was thrown off because it said all new and I hadn't seen it yet.
