One of the most interesting areas of the forum to browse is The Workshop. Specifically in the Case Mods subforum, users share some amazing and detailed projects modifying old Mac hardware into new PC cases. The friendly support and encouragement that veteran modders offer the inexperienced here is truly refreshing. Keep it up!

Based on the popularity of this topic, we've reorganized and restructured The Workshop into multiple subforums: Completed Mods, iMac, Mac Pro, PowerMac G3 B&W, PowerMac G4, PowerMac G4 Cube, PowerMac G5, Others, and Retail Cases. We've also added a brand new Modders Tools subforum including CNC Templates, PCB Templates, Hardware/Parts, Hand Tools, and Power Tools. Let us know what you think!

We'll be spotlighting some of our top picks from this section in our Twitter, Facebook, and Google+ streams. Enjoy!

I'll be sure to showcase my G3 CaseMod Soon!

This is great!!! I've been researching to do a G5 and G3 B&W mods, and this is great news!!

Thanks TonyMac and everyone involved in this community!!! =)

Yeah so come on folks and get to posting your mods!!! Case, hardware hacks themes or what have you.
Have any ideas or what not then drop me a line :)

I like it :) The iMac link is wrong though I believe, leads to http://www.tonymacx86.com/imac/ (infinite loop - mac hardware - iMac) instead of iMac case mods (to which I could not get at all). Interestingly I could get to the most recent iMac case mod thread, but not to its forum since it all runs under the link to the infinite loop - mac hardware - iMac.

You know, I do NOT like the new setup. Splitting up the case mods into subforums based on type is a mistake. There's not enough traffic. While I used to go to one mod forum and browse all the neat projects now I'm forced to navigate NINE subforums - which is horrible given the low traffic of the case mods section.

All you have to do is look at the date on the right side as your scrolling down the Workshop section, that is how you can see if there are any new posts to look at.

Also the cases and mods section was broke up to make it easier to find ideas and info for the specific project your working on. Wading through pages of G5 builds for a G4 post was a PITA.

I know not everybody will be happy with what we do and change but there are reasons why we do it. One of them was to drive more traffic into those areas form outside people, not necessarily hackintosh users. Some sections maybe slow but it might not be like that forever, or that is what I am hoping for.

G3 is the best Mood thanks to apple Genie, je je

I like the various HW icons that folks have posted but they are buried w/in the mods subforums.
Suggest a special place for ICONS and Boot Screen Themes.
