We've already seen a rather small picture of Gigabyte's H77N-WIFI motherboard, but we've now found one that gives us a much better look at the upcoming mini-ITX board. We're clearly not far away from the official announcement now, which means that we're also getting closer to actual availability of what we know is a board some of you have been looking forward to for quite some time.
From the single picture posted by Gigabyte's Malaysian office on their local Facebook page we can see a lot more detail than we could from the previous picture we had of the board. The H77N-WIFI has as we've previously pointed out, a PS/2 port, four USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.0 ports, a pair of Realtek Ethernet ports, 7.1-channel Realtek audio, dual HDMI ports and a DVI port around the back.
The board also sports a half size mini PCI Express slot, although it's populated by an Intel card by default, this can easily be swapped out for something that works well in OS X, like one of the many Atheros options that are available for as little as $10 from eBay among other places. Furthermore the board has two SATA 6Gbps and two SATA 3Gbps ports, an internal USB 3.0 pin-header and a USB 2.0 pin-header, as well as a x16 PCI Express 3.0 slot and two standard DIMM slots.
Come tomorrow, we should have much more detailed pictures of the H77N-WIFI, as well as it's sibling, the Z77N-WIFI, as we're paying a visit to Gigabyte's headquarters in Taiwan to get a first hands on look at the two upcoming boards. So check back with us tomorrow for the full, exclusive preview of Gigabyte's two new mini-ITX motherboards.
