Hey guys,

I'm starting a new post because these problems have arisen from a completely fresh install which no longer address the same problems. So I recently decided to do a fresh install of Yosemite and have noticed a few problems. For those where this may be TL;DR, the point of this post is to address:
---
Current:
Problem has been fixed. Though it isn't without some drawbacks.

Currently Running:
1. Same hardware
2. Yosemite 10.10

Current Problems
1. Slow quicktime playback (playback is sluggish, where in the previous install it was quite snappy). This is required when I'm previewing files to a client who want to see the files in Apple ProRes 422 HQ or Apple ProRes 4444 (again, in the previous install with UEFI there was completely buttery smooth playback).
2. Slightly sluggish UI, but nothing crazy (there was no sluggish UI in the previous install).
3. Slow SSD read/write speeds. I was getting R:450/W:420mb/s on the SATA 6gbps ports on the UEFI bios, but now only scrounge up R:271/W:276mb/s, which is odd that the read speed is slower than the write speed.

Solved Problems
1. Hackintosh boots with no freezes (well it still does if I don't repair permissions following the install of an app, it would freeze maybe 5 minutes of app use afterwards)
2. Hackintosh can install Adobe CS6 Suite, where previously it would always freeze on the install

What I've done so far:
1. Downgraded BIOS from UEFI - U1J to Award BIOS F10, and applied all the recommended BIOS settings found in the forums here
2. Erased and reinstalled Yosemite on the SSD
3. Applied Multibeast settings as found in the attachment below
4. Repaired permissions, installed all the programs I need and they are running.

What I suspect
1. The UEFI bios is definitely a lot more efficient in having all the parts play nice together, however for some reason none of the Adobe programs would install when I was using the UEFI bios. Everything installs on the F10 AWARD BIOS, however it is a bit sluggish.
1.1 Of note, there was one magical time where I was able to get UEFI U1J to install all the adobe programs and work in blazing speed, however somehow Yosemite would refuse to load after a restart and I had to reinstall. I was never able to get it to work again.
1.2 UEFI probably has some magic to make data transfer faster because going from R:450/W:420mb/s to R:271/W:276mb/s is painful.

Any solutions?

Old slightly resolved problem:
Problems:
1. Adobe CS6 ABSOLUTELY refuses to install - will freeze every time during installation. This forces me to shut down the power and boot up again.
2. Adobe CC will install, sometimes, but for the most part will completely freeze the system. This forces me to shut down the power and boot up again.
3. Yosemite, upon installation from the the UNIBEAST USB, will simply auto-restart once the installation is complete, rather than prompting the user for restart (don't know if this would be a problem)

The Build:
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3, UEFI bios U1J, no overclock
CPU: i7-2600k, 3.40 ghz, no overclock
Graphics: XFX 6870, 2gb, no overclock
RAM: 32gb @ 1333 mhz, no overclock
SATA 0: Corsair Neutron GTX SSD 480gb, a SATA 3 port (this is where Yosemite is installed)

What I've done so far:
1. Updated to UEFI bios from Award Bios F6
2. Installed Yosemite as per the guide.
3. Installed Multibeast with DSDT free, nothing else.
** at this point I'd like to note that the computer would no longer boot due to AppleIntelCPUManagement problems, so I just reinstalled Yosemite yet again.
4. After the new install, I tried Yosemite and Multibeast with a few extra settings (found in the attachment)
5. Repaired permissions and restarted computer.
6. Tried reinstalling Adobe CS6 and CC, to no avail. It either freezes on the install or freezes when I somehow succeed in installing and try to open the program. This is quite a headache.

Prior results:
1. In a previous thread, I was using award bios F6 and Yosemite, and both After Effects CC and CS6 would install, and would be working programs. However I decided to update to the newest bios because it was stated it could fix my sleep problems. Suffice it to say there have been more problems with the UEFI bios.

Any thoughts?

This might help :

In Multibeast - Drivers - System

Select and install AppleACPIPlatform.kext Rollback - 10.9.5 AppleACPIPlatform Rollback

Good Luck

Tried that as well in the follow up. Going to try Mavericks now. Sigh.
