I build this rig for my 3D and Video Compositing work use Nuke, Maya, Houdini and Realflow
I followed Shilohh's Build for Eric but in step 9a) do not use Caldigi kext cause your system kernel panic I used GenericUSBXHCI.kext from RehabMan's build and run
Follow his DSDT guide to create your DSDT.aml I used X79D_DSDT_Patch_10-2014.txt from the end of this post to compile and patch.
- for decklink 4K extream I use 20 metre hdmi cable connect between card and 3D TV 55" when I want to present project with client in VTR-room
- for mouse, keyboard and usb stuff I use 20 metre usb2.0 extender
the stuff you can find on IT market near your home or eBay, amazon, newegg
- Sound system I use Bose AM6 plug in green port rear case (or usb audio)

Audio : work but jerky and not smooth (not serious to much cause I like to use usb audio or hdmi port from my decklink card) however if someone know the way to solve this please advise me.
USB3 : work!
iMessage : spinning always (like not work)
Bluetooth : not work
Ethernet : work
Graphics Card : work for normal display use but I not test to much about Quadro performance, Cuda and OpenGL I think should be fine
DeckLink 4K Extreme : work
Application : all work with Nuke 9.0v7, Maya 2015, Houdini 14.0.226, SolidAngle MtoA 1.2.3.1, Realflow 2015

1. Dual boot(separate hard drive) to window 7 or 10
running in 4 day (24 hrs) I never get kernel panic nightmare same my old build ga-z87x-ud3h. I'm new for clover after I moved from chimera boot loader.

Display Adapter and Cable
At my work space all machine such as VTR-online(this machine), NAS server, Renderfarm I put it on the server room cause it's easy for service and maintenance. the distance between VTR-online room and Server room is around 20 metre that mean I have to find longer dvi cable to connect my display between VTR-online room and Server room then I found this

It amazed me that OS X El Capitan can work flawlessly on a machine that only has 2GB of RAM, really impressive operating system.....
