Z87x-ud7-th alc898 spdif-in

Hi,

I have followed Toledas guide trying to enable SPDIF-IN on a Z87X-UD7-TH with ALC898 running 10.10.3, but there is no Digital Input Device in the Audio Midi Setup App.
Under SystemInformation/Audio I can see a SPDIF-IN below Intel High Definition Audio.

Is SPDIF-IN supported with ALC898 at all?

Requires AppleHDA.kext edit. See Customization - Realtek ALC AppleHDA_v2 [Guide].pdf/Procedures/1. Add SPDIFIn.

Hi Toleda,

thank you. I followed the guide, but made an error editing the Platform.xml file.
The Input is now visible.
