Hi, my hack works amazing, everything works, i mean everything... except one thing and its started to really annoying me. My wifi bluetooth card works flawlessly in OS but I can't for the life of me get the magic keyboard to work in bios/boot loader without plugging in a usb cable; this is really frustrating me especially when testing new builds of OSX.

It is a BCM4360CD and plugged into pci-e 1 (actually works in all pci-e) and F_usb1 header. It is recognised by the OS without any need for edits or kexts. All usb ports work on the board at correct speed, DSDT (with edits to rename USB) and SSDT all work, profile is iMac 13.2. I have disconnect every other usb header and switched it between F_usb1 and 2 and still it works fine in OS but dead in bios/boot loader.

I can only assume that it is a bios setting issue, although I have legacy USB enabled and can not find any other setting which may affect this. The last thing which I haven't tried as yet is to delete the bluetooth plist in OS X, however I have my doubts this will do anything seeing as the issue is at bios level, and connect the card to a usb 3 header via a converter. My bios is the mod11_f16 and this has been an issue in all OS versions, I am now running macOS Sierra, clover boot loader.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Update:

resolved the issue... as I thought the plist made no difference at all, but connecting it to the USB3 header did. Clearly my board only likes USB3 devices during bios/boot.

However I did have a 4 port Anker USB hub connected to one of the USB3 port on the rear of the motherboard and this caused the keyboard to stop working in bios/boot loader again, disconnecting this solved that issue.

I think its an issue with power over USB3 as my back up drive connected to the same USB3 ports on the rear of the board doesn't interfere with the keyboard. I believe if the USB hub is powered it may not interfere with the keyboard during bios/boot loader, but until I purchase one I couldn't confirm this.

How did you get your hdmi audio to work? I have same board, same graphics but
i5 3570k

Hi, sorry I've never actually used hdmi, from either the onboard or the video card, i use dvi as my monitors only have dvi or vga... I'll give it a go with my TV and see if it works but I have my doubts as I really haven't attempted to get it working. I simply used the scripts to get the audio working and I can't remember if there was something specific about getting hdmi audio to work in them. As soon as I get a chance i'll reply.

Sorry drewthor3, those links don't work for me so I cant see the products. Not much I can say really, try different USB ports on the motherboard, including USB3... i had to use USB3 in the end for it to work in bios (i'm going to try again with USB2 soon), but it was detected instantly on USB2 within OSX. The card is native in OSX and as wifi is detected it must be an issue with the USB connection, USB setup in bios or your DSDT. I would start by trouble shooting the USB on the motherboard, attached something else and see if it works, then its either an issue with the card itself or the connecting cable.

Sorry, i managed to kill my setup with a minor overclock change so I have spent the past day trying to fix that, which I have now! I have noted that I have HDMI/Display Port as available in the system profile, but until I actually hook it up I couldn't be sure it works. To clarify, I simply ran Rehabman' audio script and selected the appropriate choices for the motherboard and after a restart I had full audio working. I'll post again once I check HDMI.

Ok so I checked the HDMI outputs. I can confirm that I get video feed from HDMI onboard and via the GTX 650, sadly no audio from the GTX and none from the onboard, however I was unable to boot completely to OSX using the onboard HDMI only, I think this is due to having the GTX connected to the motherboard; sorry but I don't have the time to remove the GTX to try the HDMI on its on.

I also noticed that although HDMI/Display Port audio is available in the System Information page under Audio, I am unable to select it as the audio output from the menu bar; again this maybe simply because I've not got the HDMI connected whilst within OSX.

If I get the chance I will try it with the GTX removed and post here.

I have the same board but with 3770S CPU and Gigabyte GTX960 GPU. I have installed 2 different PCIx cards with Apple native bluetooth cards. The cards I have tried are:
Card 1. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00MBP25UK/?tag=tonymacx86-21,
with BCM943602CS BT card.
Card 2. Fenvi FV-T919. This was the Tonymacx86 recommended one at the time.
However, the BT is not recognised on either card in the OS.
I have plugged it into both F_USB1 and F_USB2.
The only way that I can get the BT on Card 1 to work is to connect the board to a USB 2/3 port of the back panel, or the front USB3 panel. I have also tried a USB3 header to USB3 socket adapter. However, in each case I get that dreaded instant awake from sleep problem.

NB. Both cards work flawlessness on my backup hack H67N-USB3-B3/i3570K, so they clearly work.

2 questions:
1. Using F_USB1 and F_USB2 it seems that the ports are not active. Is there a BIOS setting and/or OS setting that I need to configure to make these active?
2. Have you suffered from the dreaded instant awake from sleep problem? If so, how did you fix it?

A solution to either, or both, of these questions would be great.
