I tried Booting with almost every option recommended but in the end i always get this "forbidden" sign over the apple logo while loading the installer, i removed my graphic card and im running on my motherboard graphics but i keep having the same sign over my apple logo...

i really dont know what could cause this... if someone could help me a bit it would be of great appreciation! i have to get this beast working!

P.D.: i tryed safe mode and theapplehdacontroller deal dissapears but still i cant pass the forbidden sign... Pthread Support ABORTS when sync kernel primitives misused

I have this MB and had the same problem. I had to turn OFF EFI in BIOS. I know this is the opposite of the other guides - but disabling this worked for me.

It is a setting in the BIOS - let me look it up and make sure this is the correct name.

did you try to delete (backup) ATI6000Controller.kext from your USB ML installation (this files are hidden , need to unhide with commands or install the app that comes on MB) inside System/Library/Extensions, and then boot with GraphicsEnabler=0 ?
Use your 6870 to do this

Sorry about that - it is called xHCI under peripherals in the BIOS screen. I set mine to DISABLED.
Not sure what it does (or what it doesn't do now ;)) but turning this off fixed this problem for me.
