Hi there all.

This is my second build and my first post on this forum. I'd like to say thanks for all the help with my first build and also thanks in advance for any help with my current problem.

Just so you know I'm still a noob so allot of the terminology is a bit jumbled up in my brain so please be patient.

So I'm trying to boot up a clone of my initial working HD from my first hackintosh (z68x-ud3h0-b3 core i72600k) and the latest unibeast on a thumb drive.

The computer gets to the Unibeast screen which allows me to select my SSD hard drive, boots into the apple logo for a second and just reboots. I feel like I've tried everything I know to get it to boot.

Changed AHCI mode
-v -x -s
All of the options when you press the down arrow.
GraphicEnabler=yes and no (I'm using the on board graphics H4000)
Used VGA and HDMI cables

I've also tried installing Lion onto a new drive to no avail and I've tried using my original unibeast pen drive.

Nothing works.

Apologies if I've missed anything out. If anyone can help me I would be very grateful as I'm completely lost. :)

Without knowing the hardware involved it is impossible to diagnose your problem. Assuming you have Ivy Bridge mainboard/CPU, see http://legacy.tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?t=59052

Thanks for the speedy reply. Sorry about that. Hope this helps.

did u set shared memory to 64mb in bios and use GE=YES

Sorry for the late reply. I've been trying to fix my other Hackintosh as I accidentally formatted my Chimera USB stick I use to boot into OSX. I've finally managed to get that working now. Ugh!

So...I can see internal Graphics memory size is set to 64m. Is that what you meant?

This problem is very odd and frustrating because I can't use Verbose mode to diagnose the problem. Every time it gets to the end it just reboots.

I've tried Iboot, Rboot, using a preinstalled HDD.

Could it be the bios version. Mine is F8. Is this worth looking into?

Oh and I tried GE=yes with no joy :(

make shure u use dvi or hdmi because vga isnt supported

Yeah I discovered that with my first Hackintosh. I've tried with this one and still no joy. I just can't understand what could be wrong.

hd3000/4000 requires flag GE=yes then add to org.chameleonboot.plist in extra folder

GraphicsEnabler=yes is not working. I installed windows onto this computer today and it works perfectly. I may try to change the bios version next and if that doesn't work, change the motherboard for a different type. Drastic times call for drastic measures. :)

try creating UniBeast on a different USB flash drive. Some drives just don't work very well.
