Z77-DS3H Audio static after a while

I have had my Hackintosh for a while but ever since I updated to Mavericks, when I play video through Google Chrome, I get a static/crackle and it worsens over time.

Hardware:

Gigabyte Z77-DS3H
MSI AMD 6870

Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
