[SOLVED] Z87 Gigabyte OC-Force unable to boot with 4790K

EDIT
SOLVED. was VT/d, doh. I thought i had disabled everything but forgot they stick that in a different area from rest of cpu options.

I had a working build up until today, when i pulled 4770K out of system and replaced it with a 4790k. Now. No matter what I do, it simply won't boot in ANY mode but safe mode.

I have tried everything to fix. I have tried:

http://www.tonymacx86.com/mavericks...icks-native-cpu-igpu-power-management-30.html
But can't get even past step 1 because you can't install tools in safe mode, and there is no force in universe that will boot this system in any other mode.

I've Tried every tip from:
http://www.tonymacx86.com/mavericks...el-panic-i7-4790k-z97n-working-i7-4790-a.html
Of which includes:
1. Disabling Turbo boost
2. Ensuring Enable P or C states are NOT in boot config.
3. Going as far as to disable EVERYTHING including setting 1 core

In addition to those things, I even tried
1. NullCPUPowerManagement
2. Flat out deleting AppleIntelCPU kexts
3. Booting into windows first then rebooting into OS X after verifying everything is fine in windows
4. Reinstalling latest fakeSMC
5. Running with PJALM's gigabyte DSDT patches AND without.

No matter what I do, the only way to boot is to do safe mode. Otherwise, this is result 100% of time (see picture)

The 4770k I pulled is defective and can't be used so I need to fix it while 4790k is installed, which may mean finding a way to do http://www.tonymacx86.com/mavericks...icks-native-cpu-igpu-power-management-30.html from safe mode (which currently is halted by being unable to install intel power gadget while booted in safe mode.

EDIT
forgot to add
Bootloader:
Chameleon 2.2 svn r2391

Check your BIOS version.

See the Gigabyte website.
Your 4770K is ok with BIOS F7 but your 4790K needs F9.

Good Luck

it's not bios, i have latest. windows works fine with cpu fully supported. I'm actually using best bios version available for 4790k, and most stable version I ever had for 4770k in fact, which is F10c

I've attacked another image of boot waiting 10 minutes. It continues to just error on SMC. If i had to guess the issue is with fakeSMC but it's baffling since I know of many hackintoshes that run 4790k just fine so there has to be some kind of edit somewhere to be done. It is latest fakeSMC and plugins 6.9.1315

EDIT again

Looks like VT/d is cause. I don't know how I missed that. I actually googled the error instead of googling 4790k and found threads covering the issue. The fact it happens with 4790k and not the 4770k is beyond me, but as long as VT/d is off on 4790k it seems to be working. so all is good
