z68 ud4 ati6870: Lion install, problems connecting u2711

Hey guys

Long time lurker, first time poster!

Did a successful clean install of Lion yesterday with the f
ollowing gear:

Z68 ud4
i7 2600k
Asus 6870
16 gig gskill

I had no problems connecting a lower res screen (1650x1050)

I tried connecting it to my u2711 but half the screen goes fuzzy and the other half is normal. I've tried both dvi ports and no luck. I don't have a hdmi cable handy to test unfortunately :/ I have a xfx 6870 handy to try the mini dvi port, could this help? Or is it a kexts issue?

I'm' also interested about this, I'm building the same configuration

I have a similiar build except for a UD5 mtb. Only one DVI port will work and you will have to get an active DP to DVI adaptor if you want 2 displays. In my case I had the ASUS 6870 and the DVI port directly beneath the DP ports was the active one.
Set your config to "Graphics Enabler = yes" and iDVD geekbench etc will all work.
