Hi!
I'm considering installing a https://www.amazon.fr/dp/B01M211K53/?tag=tonymacx8607-21 via a PCI Express adapter like this one https://www.amazon.fr/dp/B07CBJ6RH7/?tag=tonymacx8607-21 on my old Z68 board.
I don't wanna modify the BIOS (which is UEFI, by the way ;) ), so I guess it should work ok with Clover being on another drive's EFI and the necessary NvmExpressDxe-64.efi for booting a cloned High Sierra or Mojave on the NVMe.
- Am I right? Will this work?
- Are there issues? Such as drive not seen after wake?
(that would be a big issue...)
I've already read some people saying I would gain nothing compared to a classic SSD (because of sequential reads, etc.), but those posts were from 5 years ago. I'm sure someone will tell me the same today without actually having tried themselves, so please, no second-hand comments... ;)
As for performance matters, I'm interested instead in people having tried themselves and failed or succeeded.
Thanks in advance for any insightful comment. :)

P.S.: since I posted this, I've replaced my i3 with an Ivy Bridge i7-3770. ;)
