  • From your uploaded Boot screen, it looks like you have a USB port file transfer problem causing that "Prohibited Entry Sign" error.
  • This can be from any of the following
  • Your BIOS listed options for USB controllers: NOT ENABLED
    • In Gigabyte BIOS they are under Peripherals
  • Problem with CLOVER
    • Lack of proper USB support kexts like USBInjectAll.kext and XHCIunsupported.kext in CLOVER/kexts/Other and/ or
    • config.plist _Devices_USB lacking [√]Inject [√]FixOwnership
  • It can also be related to a USB port on your Desktop that fails during Boot especially in a USB 3.0 port, This requires switching the Installer to other ports by trial and error until you find the right port most likely at the back of the case.
  • Uploading a zipped CLOVER folder from your USB installer will be a good idea for someone to check it for you.
  • For the steps to get CLOVER from USB installer, check bulleted steps here->#4

Thanks for the quick and informative reply cmn699,

My motherboard only have usb 3.0 ports, I tried every port on the back of my computer, and usb 3.1 port worked like a charm, my install was starting, I saw Mojave start screen but now I can't see the m2 samsung drive to install Mojave on it?
I can see it in bios menu but not in Mojave install screen ???

how can I see it back again ??

Now I can see clover install screen, but I can't come to Mac OS install screen anymore apple logo shows, suddenly black screen ...

Now im in MOJAVE install screen,

  • In that Disk Utility screen , you have to Erase the disk as GUID+APFS
  • To do this properly, you have to find the Entire disk not the Volumes
  • To find the Entire Disk, from Menubar on top, locate and click View[√] Show All Devices [Not Show Only Volumes See uploaded Image of DU]
  • Erase GUID+APFS (Not Mac OS Extended (Journaled)

I know, I am seeing the entire disk, but I can't see the m2 disk in that screen, I only can see the usb drive...

do you mean that I need to Erase GUID+APFS the usb installer ...

in other videos, other people can see the other m2 disk image, thats where im confused...

thank you for your support cmn699 :)

all the best
C.

In the above CBM screen, I see next to your USB Installer disk, what looks like a "Mac Volume".
What is it?
Is that the disk you were going to install the Mojave?
Where was it Erased? A blank HDD /SSD, won't show up in CBM screen.
In your previous images from Disk Utility screen, I did not see you opening View> Show All Devices
When you did that apparently the SSD was not seen?
What is the Brand of the m2 HDDs?
Some disks were known to have problems .
I cannot name then off the top of my head at this moment
In macOS Utilities , go to Utilities>Terminal and type diskutil list command to check if you can see your 'missing SSDs" (you saw them in BIOS) , through Terminal command.

Edited to add: The CBM screen is showing a High Sierra USB Installer , not Mojave USB Installer. Why?
