Hey guys,

I have some questions for you. I'm going tu build a new Hackintosh, with these parts:

  • Asrock Z270M-ITX/ac
  • Intel Core i7-7700k 4.2GHz
  • Zotac Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 [Founders Edition, 8GB] (I know that the Pascal support for macOS, is unavailable. I'll wait.)
  • Cooler Master Masterliquid Pro 120
  • Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB 3200MHz [2x16GB]
  • (x2) Western Digital Blue SSD 250GB [Nvme]
  • Seagate Barracuda 3.5" 2TB 7200rpm
  • Corsair CX650M [650W Semi-Modular]
  • Cooler Master Elite 110
Are these parts compatible for a Hackintosh?
Can I install macOS Sierra without any problem?
Have I to change Wifi/BT Card? How I can do it? Is connected by M.2 Slot? What WiFi/BT card I should buy?

Thanks in advice guys! It's important to me. (Sorry for my English, I'm Italian :p)

Intel Core i7-7700k 4.2GHz -
Z270 and 7700K is still in "testing" but is a work in progress and people are getting good results... Running 7700k off Skylake FakeCPUID
Zotac Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 - Personally, I don't think support will ever come... macOS is unusable (IMO) with this card - glitchy artifacts, no acceleration etc. However, you could use iGPU for macOS and then switch to your dGPU for Windows (if you plan on running Windows) but that is a very clunky solution that will get old very fast.
Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB 3200MHz [2x16GB] Yes
(x2) Western Digital Blue SSD 250GB [Nvme] This is tricky, I know Hynix branded chips don't work, Samsung works with a patch
Seagate Barracuda 3.5" 2TB 7200rpm Yes
Corsair CX650M [650W Semi-Modular] Yes

Are these parts compatible for a Hackintosh? You might be waiting a long time by using the 1070. Unfortunately I think we might be at a crossroads with Nvidia support. It seems that moving forward, with major support from the community, AMD will be the way to go if Apple keeps implementing them in their machines. I would stay away from the 1070 and get a 980 Ti.
Can I install macOS Sierra without any problem? There will always be problems. The true question is are you a fast learner? Do you have patience? Do you have background knowledge of macOS? Can you live without macOS on this machine if there's a problem that can't be immediately fixed?
Would I have to change Wifi/BT Card? How can I do it? Is connected by M.2 Slot? What WiFi/BT card I should buy? Yes, this is an M.2 (key E) wifi/bt card. With some patches you can use the BCM94352Z NGFF M.2 WiFi WLAN Bluetooth 4.0 802.11ac card. It is easily user-replaceable via two small screws on the bottom of the motherboard. I have used the BCM94352Z in the past and it's kind of a pain for a new Hackintosher to set up, but do-able. I am currently experimenting with a 12+6 (or legit Apple) wifi card to m.2 adapter linked here - I will post back if it gives me full Apple services support.

Good luck!

So I just got my own personal Z270/7700K system built up (see sig) and I can confirm everything working. Also, that WiFi adapter with a legit 2015 MacBook Air BCM94360CS2 WiFi card (can find on eBay) works very well! By using an M.2 replacement/legit Apple WiFi/BT card you don't need any patches/kexts to implement handoff/continuity/AC WiFi, and it survives updates. I used an ITX board for this build so using the dedicated M.2 WiFi slot was absolutely necessary as I didn't want to sacrifice my only PCIe slot for a WiFi x1 card.

Did you use an adapter for that card? All the BCM94360CS2 cards I'm seeing are PCIe.
Also did you get all your USB 3.0 working at full speed? Seems like a lot of people have trouble with that.
I'm assuming you used a Skylake spoof to get Kaby Lake working.
Congrats on your build.

You can see my M.2 adapter WiFi write-up here.

I'm working on it. I'm just using Rehabman's USBInjectAll.kext now as I wait for some USB 2/3.0 header to female usb cables so I can number each port (including on-board) with precision. I just finished SSDT injection for the GPU (thanks Shilohh) and then RehabMan's NVMe spoof. But yes, it's a Skylake FakeCPUID. Once I get my USB-SSDT done, I'll keep you posted. I played around with the on-board graphics and got iGPU working too, although I don't need it being I have a 980 Ti. Thought about writing a short guide...

That's awesome. Way to put in work. I'm just sponging up info until I can build mine. Probably in the next month or so. Thanks for the details :)

What messing around you had to do to actually make it work? What audio, network (RJ45) and TB controller is it using?
