I have upgraded my BIOS to F20 from F5 in the hope of getting rid of occasional kernel_task problems. I already properly excluded/fixed my USB(I also have USB weirdness every now and then, unfortunately the fix hasn't helped much).
I wonder if it is a good idea to upgrade/update SSDT's? I can imagine that changing the BIOS will influence the effectiveness of a SSDT.
I'm using SSDT-i7-6700K.aml and SSDT-USB-GA-Z170X-UD5-TH.aml both from this site.

Any ideas?

The F20 upgrade worked OK, although I had to redo my BIOS settings. I also properly(?) patched lots of stuff with SSDT's and Clover injection. (thank you, Rehabman and Violet Dragon). I even put my old AMD6870 GPU in. That was easy, BTW.
My hack still doesn't sleep, my Geekbench score has gone down slightly, my CPU temps slightly up.
But thanks to the new bios' fan settings my Hack is even more silent.
Before I put in my 6870, that is. I like the loud 6870 woosh sound before the GPU driver kicks in, BTW.
I'll keep the system like it is now to do some more testing.
