I tried a lot with FakeCPUID and I succeeded in booting Sierra setting it up as 0x0506e3 on config.plist with iMac 7,1 definition.

Then screwed it up 2/3 times after installing latest beta driver published this month by Nvidia or trying to set it up with an updated Multibeast as seen here: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/success-sierra-on-msi-z170m-mortar-i7-6700k.209227/ not working

Nor this was helpful, using only integrated graphics, as suggested here: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/success-msi-z170m-mortar-i5-6600k-intel-530-graphics.218543/ not working for me, and I GOT to use those 6GB RAM on that 1060, they're calling me!

I succeeded in installing Sierra only as iMac 17,1, with DVI on Nvidia GTX 1060 Pascal with nv_disable=1 : various try on setting audio and ethernet (with Realtek chipset onboard, which is not MAUSI as suggested somewhere..) screwed everything so I'me here to restart.

Any advice or similar configuration reported?
Thanks!

Finally I succeeded in booting Sierra 10.12.4 but after installing Nvidia Driver and Clover on SSD the system is now really unstable and GTX 1060 is recognized as 8 MB.
I payed attention in installing Clover, including EmuVariable efi a trying to enable Web driver like this

Code:
<key>SystemParameters</key>
<dict>
<key>InjectKexts</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>InjectSystemID</key>
<true/>
<key>NvidiaWeb</key>
<true/>
</dict>

with no result: I can only bootstrap with the USB key previously made for installing Sierra, without networking and audio.
I add as attachment my config.plist from the USB stick, the only working (at the moment) configuration

The config.plist is a mess.
Do you really need all of those patches ?
Boot - You have nv_disable=1 which disables the Nvidia graphics drivers.
Graphics - You have Inject Nvidia which is wrong for your GTX 1060.
Graphics - You have ig-platform-id 0x19120000 which is for Intel graphics.
SMBIOS - Should have Trust selected.
System Parameters - Inject Kexts should be Detect not Yes.
System Parameters - Should have Inject System ID selected.
System Parameters - Should have Nvidia Web selected.

Installation procedure :

BIOS - Disable Integrated graphics - PEG as Primary
Use a digital connection - DVI or HDMI - VGA is not supported.
Boot with nv_disable=1
Install web drivers
Config.plist - Do not inject Intel or Nvidia graphics
Edit config.plist - NvidiaWeb = true as per Link
May need to emulate NVRAM - Problem 6
Remove nv_disable=1 from config.plist

Why are you using SortOrder & DropTables? Not needed also you're using iGPU with Nvidia graphics not a good idea. Some of the patches are fine. Change EHC1 to EH01, EHC2 to EH02 are not needed. Messy config needs to be cleaned up.

I know it's a mess, I have joined so many tutorials in one place!
I followed your advice disabling all the patches but the system isn't booting.

Have I to completely remove SortOrder & DropTables? EHC1 to EH01 enabled, EHC2 to EHO2 disabled..result? Won't boot!
