Hello guys!

I am running a HTPC which is working pretty well, except for two things.
One is abysmal Bluetooth performance, but this problem is plaguing me since i have started experimenting with mackintoshes and i don't expect it ever getting resolved.

the other is the computer often restarts after which i get a message that
"your computer has been restarted because of a problem].

specs:

Intel i3 4340
Gigabyte GA-Z87M-D3H
Corsair Vengeance 16GB
Samsung 840 EVO 250GB
I am running a Sasmsung TV via HDMI on the internal Intel HD Graphics 4600

Install using Clover.

Anybody has a clue whats wrong?

No one has a clue?

Was there ever a time that the system was rock solid day after day?

The following is my process used on this type of system.

This is a systematic trouble shooting process. Take notes at each step.

Start with a minimum system with one drive, no USB devices other then keyboard and mouse, no bluetooth (pull the dongle or adapter card out of the system).

Install Yosemite or Mavericks using a UniBeast built USB installer. Format and partition two partitions of 60GB or larger, GUID with Mac OS Extended (journaled) file system. Install to the first partition and clone the install to the second (use SuperDuper!). Keep the second partition cloned from the first and bootable (use the standalone Chimera installer for making the clone bootable).

Run MultiBeast with only DSDT Free as the first pass. If needed edit the org.chameleon.Boot.plist to boot from the new installation.

Remember to keep notes. You want to run for a period of time that exceeds the problem frequency that you were seeing. Probably a minimum of 24 hours.

If you got through 24 hours, clone the first partition to the second, make the second bootable. Then go to the next step such as adding the Ethernet driver using MultiBeast.

Repeat the process or adding one thing a day, if stable clone to the second partition.

When you add something that breaks the system. STOP. Make sure you have this documented in your notes.

Recover by booting to your second partition and cloning back to the first partition (and make sure to run Chimera to make the first bootable).

When you are back booted on your first partition again... you need to proceed with something other then the item that caused you problems...

At this point you may want to post and share your information and ask for assistance.

Good modding,
neil

Edit: And I own one of these Gigabyte GA-Z87M-D3H motherboards and have both Mavericks and Yosemite installed... rock solid.
