Yosemite updated but cannot run (panic)

Hey!
Just "updated" Mavericks to Yosemite. From the USB it was only running with GraphicsEnabler=Yes, PCIRootUID=1 maxmem=8192 npci=0x2000, only with Graphicsenabler not.
Got Gef GTX570.
I cannot run from the
7. Reboot from the USB and choose your existing drive
with or without bootflags above.
With -x it says the following panic, and need help what to do next:

Is there any way to disable the pre-enabled arguments (nvidia_drv=1 for example), cause I just typed what you wrote, and it used some different also.

tried maxmem 4096 and IGPEnabler=No before:


However I really dont understand everything, the farthest I ever gone with:
-v GraphicsEnabler=yes PCIRootUID=1 npci=0x3000 nvda_drv=0 -f -x
seems not such like before

Now you are trying to boot from USB or directly from HDD??

from USB, didnt have the chance to install multibeast and chimera...

because of this is an older system, there is the older bootloader, but it says kernel missing

Boot into the installer again and delete the FakeSMC.kext from your HDD through Terminal.

Once you deleted the kext, reboot and boot into Yosemite through USB's bootloader with previously suggested flags.

And also try booting with addition of flag -x too.

Post the result.



Note:- Do not simply type /System/Library/Extensions, as you are booting from USB this will point to the USB's path.

It just went fine until singning in, now the beach ball is rolling for long minutes, but nothing happens

Update: without -x I just got in. Installed multibeast, now I cannot boot with the bootflags either (from HDD not USB)

I cannot identify the motherboard details from your profile.

So first update your build's hardware details under Profile > Basic Information section in the below format (Profile link is available on the upper right side of this website)

System : Motherboard + BIOS Version + Bootloader (Clover/Chameleon/Chimera)
CPU : Detailed CPU Model
Graphics : All Graphics Devices

For Example,
System : GA-Z97X-UD5H (F9F) (CLOVER)
CPU : Intel Core i7-4790K
Graphics : Intel HD 4600/NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980



Also let me know, what are the options you have selected while installing MultiBeast??

- Audio / Realtek ALC889
- Disk / IOAHCIBlockStorageInjector (if I remember right, as it wrote it makes AHCI drives described as inside)
- Disk / Trim / Trim for 10.10.3 (or sg about it - because of the SSD it is installed on)
- Misc / FakeSMC v. (whatever the newest MultiBeast made it)
- Misc / USB 3.0 - Universal
- Network / Atheros / The one covered mine (Atheros AR8151) in the description
- Bootloader / Chimera 4.1
- Customize / Boot / Basic Boot Options
- Customize / Boot / Generate CPU States
- Customize / Boot / Kext-dev-mode
- Customize / Boot / Use KernelCache (I guess, because I see in videos it is default checked)
- Customize / System Definitions / MacPro 3,1

I guess thats all... I might have chosen wrong ones

I was reading through the post of back and forth exchanges but could not quite comprehend everything to have a very clear picture of what is going on at present. "In order for both to be on the same wave length", let me state what I understood the situation your installation is facing right now. If you think we are in sync we can try the boot flag I suggest at the end.

Motherboard: GA-H61M-USB3-B3 (F11) Chimera
CPU: Intel Core i3-2100
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570

• Yosemite USB Installer

Your Installer type is not clearly stated but on reading the post it is fairly clear you have

• Unibeast Yosemite USB Installer

Yosemite version Not Specified

But able to reach Chimera boot menu with Unibeast Yosemite USB Installer and Yosemite HDD after Mutibeast Choice
So acceptable Boot options chosen
Current Problems

• Unable to boot Yosemite HDD with -v and -x boot flags
• Unable to boot Unibeast Yosemite USB Installer with : -v and -x boot flags
• No Verbose boot Screen image about current boot problem
• Clear observation reporting:

  Update: without -x I just got in. Installed multibeast, now I cannot boot with the bootflags either (from HDD not USB)
  Stops at PCI configuration begin

If this is the stage my suggestion:

1. At Yosemite HDD boot line: type the following boot flags and press ENTER:
-v npci=0x2000 PCIRootUID=1
2. Post a legible Verbose image if the boot screen stops.
