Hi everybody,

I found this issue in Yosemite on three "vanilla" builds with different hardware: if any external drive is not disconnected before, the system wil not restart or shut down, otherwise it does normally

Did anyone have the same issue? Any tip?

thank you

Man!! I have the exact same problem as you!!

My rig:
ASRock Z97 Extreme 3
GTX 780 ASUS
i7 4790K
then I have 4 Internal disks 2 SSD and 2 HDD

BUT! when I connect an external drive, If I do not eject and shut down it before shutting down the hack, it will stay with the black screen and the mouse forever… that goes for restart and shut down… and ONLY happens with an external HDD connected…
This and the audio not loading properly after sleep are my two only issues with this computer, if those 2 worked it would be the perfect hackintosh!!

Lets see if anybody can give us some light!

Thanks

PS: Happy new year all anyway haha
