Reopening this thread. I have a similar Desktop with Core i3 (Ivy I I think), Integrated Graphics, 4GB RAM. I am ready to buy a 120GB SSD for MacOS since my 500GB HDD is quite full and is running Windows 8 perfectly well. Yosemite would work? Also, is having 8GB RAM absolutely necessary or can I buy it if I feel the need?
