Works good 100%?
Bluetooth supports LE or not?

Looks legit. Haven't got Handoff working yet (iMac13,1 profile). I just barely put it in.

edit: Signing out of iCloud & back in fixed it - so all good.

So I just got my long awaited wifi card from China and everything works OOB. I just plugged it in and rebooted. My Magic mouse works at the BIOS level as well and Handoff was enabled automatically. I did use a set of internal antennas since my motherboard only has 2 built-in. Both WiFi and Bluetooth work fine. FaceTime and iMessage continue to work without any changes in iMessage Debug values. If anyone knows which of the 4 antennas are for Bluetooth, I can use the built in wires as I don't care for WiFi?

Also the GA-H87N-WIFI motherboard only has a space for half-size mini PCIe and it looks ugly in there, but it works :)

Just wanted to check in with a success story. I bought the Wi-Fi card and PCIe adapter from the two eBay sellers listed earlier in the thread.

PCIe adapter: http://www.ebay.com/itm/231370068228
Wi-Fi card: http://www.ebay.com/itm/191029765954

Things arrived in a little more than two weeks from China (I'm in New Jersey). The sellers put the tracking #'s up on eBay right away, which I followed using the USPS website.

The PCIe adapter came with four long antennas (at least 6" long), and some screws that I couldn't figure out how to use. There are three antennas for the Wi-Fi and one for Bluetooth. Everything was well packed and the shipping labels were laser printed to minimize the chances of it getting lost in the mail.

I plugged everything in, using a 4x PCIe slot on my mobo (Gigabyte Z68MA-D2H-B3). Yosemite recognizes it natively and now I have Handoff and 802.11ac.

Crossing my fingers ... Just bought those based on your opinion ...

BTW if does not work it's not your fault !!! my mobo is a Gigabyte GA-Z87MX-D3H .... ETA 14 Jan ...

Cheers

Actually windows is my next mission. Which boot camp drivers do I need?

Could you post me a link? Thanks.

I used this bootcamp version.

But now i have some trouble with the Wifi card. The bluetooth feature deactivates after several minutes. So i can't use my mouse and keyboard. This happen only under yosemite. But after bluetooth is deactivated, it is also deactivates on windows.
Any ideas?

Thanks for the link. I got it sorted in the end. It works well in windows 7.

But I'm having serious hassles with the wifi in Yosemite. Driving me mad. I just can't get it stable. I've tried the 10.10.1 update and loads of fixes but it's just rubbish.

Works ace with windows 7 but wifi is rubbish with Yosemite and interestingly with windows 8.1?

Anyone else suffering with the Yosemite wifi bugs...?

Strangly my MacBook air is faultless so not the Network itself. Defo something about Yosemite/ windows 8.1?

I would not actually recommend the "fix" in this article, but it's an explanation of why Wifi is sometimes ****ing terrible in Yosemite. I can't believe that we're now 3 months on from its release and it's still this broken.

Yeah, it's about time they fixed it. It's a conflict somewhere within the wifi channels. My wifi and bluetooth work flawlessly. As long as I'm not uploading anything.
Even downloading I do get stuttering mouse but it's rare.
While I'm uploading the mouse and keyboard disconnect because of interference. If I try and connect them again by just clicking a key or the mouse they will connect, but the mouse is unusable.
I finish the upload and everything goes back to normal. I do get great download and upload speeds but the interference with bluetooth spoils it.
Is this what you're talking about or is your wifi bad without you doing anything?
