Build:
Intel i7-4790k
Gigabyte z97x-gaming 3
MSI GTX 970 (Latest Nvidia web drivers and CUDA drivers are installed)
16 GB 1866 MHz memory
My default booflags are kext-dev-mode=1 -v nvda_drv=1 -no-zp pcirootuid=0
So I installed Yosemite a few weeks ago and it's working almost perfectly- the main issue is that most of the time, when i start up the computer, after the Gigabyte splash screen and the chimera bootloader screen come up, it ends up booting to a black screen. I'm always in verbose mode, and i've never noticed any errors or anything- it seems like it boots into OS X just fine, just with no output signal. But the weirdest part is that it doesn't always happen, so basically whenever i turn on the computer i have to restart it several times before i get a signal and i can finally get to the login screen. This is an OS X only issue- Windows boots perfectly every time. This is more of an annoyance than a huge problem (since i can still boot up, it just takes several tries) but i would definitely like it fixed. Thanks for any help.
